Profile:
Having worked as a lecturer in Physiology at the University of Manchester for 25 years, I have subsequently had a number of roles in the voluntary sector, including work for the National Trust, Manchester Special Needs College (Seashell Trust) and Citizens’ Advice.

I moved to Matlock about seven years ago. During this time, Matlock has grown considerably, with much busier roads. As a frequent cyclist, I am especially interested in road safety, sustainable transport, improvement of air quality and improvements to the environment in general. I intend to do my best to improve these aspects of local life.
